More Clear Channel Idiocy
It seems that morning shock-jocks at three separate Clear Channel radio stations have been encouraging drivers to run bicyclists off the road and throw bottles at them. So, not that I feel good about defending Clear Channel or anything, but I don’t see any evidence that CC is responsible for this. Given the crap that I had yelled at me and thrown at me while I was biking to/from work in Pittsburgh, I think it’s entirely likely that this is just a bunch of redneck assholes spouting off.
I’m really happy that the Q105 or whatever lost a couple sponsors, though.

Whether Clear Channel’s involved or no, you’ve got to marvel at the sheer brilliance of the design. For every schmuck who gets smacked in the head with a beer bottle and gives up bicycling, the men of the junta, personally, make a little bit of money when they go to buy gasoline.
I guess we should just all be thankful that the Nazis never got ahold of the future-predicting crystal ball that our oil industry was using in 1940’s. Goddamn evil geniuses.
